Welcome

  •  Welcome to St. Bernard Middle School

Welcome to a successful year!  I want to take this opportunity to welcome you and your children to St. Bernard Middle School for the 2016-2017 School year.

As Acting Principal until Mrs. Deffes returns from leave, I am thrilled about the success each student will feel at St. Bernard Middle this year.  As our programs and teachers continue to grow, so will our students.  I am looking forward to building stronger relationships between our staff and families through clear and frequent communication and fun school and community activities.  Consequently, I am confident that this will be a great year at St. Bernard Middle School.

Our staff at St. Bernard Middle is committed to becoming an elite faculty through reflective, focused, and driven learning and effort that nurtures students academically, emotionally, and socially.  We are devoted to fully preparing each student to be the top performers at Chalmette High School, and from there to be college and career ready.  Each student will succeed because of the love and commitment we have for every eagle at St. Bernard Middle.

    Sincerely,

    Angela D. Seibert

    Acting Principal

    St. Bernard Middle

School News

  • Flood Relief Fundraiser

Students at St. Bernard Middle School paid $2 on Thursday and Friday, August 18th & 19th, to wear jeans in order to raise money to send to victims of the recent flooding in our neighboring parishes of Louisiana. Students were more than willing to donate as most of their families faced a similar tragedy during Hurricane Katrina 11 years ago.
