Parent Bus Information
The St. Bernard Parish School System has a new bus portal for all students riding a school bus this year.
My Ride K-12
The My Ride K-12 web and mobile app for Apple® and Android® devices can help ensure that your students never miss the bus again. This portal allows parents and students to access their own secure data for bus stop location, route, and pickup time. When your district’s buses are equipped with GPS hardware such as Telematic GPS, My Ride K-12 can use GPS geolocation to let users know when to expect their bus each day. This drastically reduces the number of calls placed to the transportation department by parents and guardians.
My Ride K-12 is part of Tyler’s Student Transportation solution, meaning all data is managed using your existing platform.
All information shared with parents and students is immediately reflected in My Ride K-12.
Parents and students can access their information either through a specific My Ride K-12 web portal, or using the My Ride K-12 mobile app for Android and iOS. Parents and students register with the My Ride K-12 web or mobile app, and then access their student information using rules of your choosing. You can specify which information is made available in My Ride K-12, including marking specific students as confidential so they cannot be viewed in the app. Setup and management is simple, and with routing information easily accessible by your parents and students, you’ll receive fewer support calls, send and receive messages, and view recent student scans.

• Integrated — Student and routing data is automatically synchronized between Student Transportation and My Ride K-12. This ensures data is correct and eliminates the risk of duplicate reports.
• Intuitive — Parents, students, and administrators can quickly and easily access the student data with little or no training. The user-friendly interface will be immediately familiar to anyone who has used a mobile app.
• Confidential — Tyler understands the importance of keeping student information secure. With My Ride K-12, parents and guardians are only able to access the transportation data of their own children.
