Louisiana Junior Beta Club – Lead, Learn, and Serve!

The Louisiana Junior Beta Club is all about recognizing students who work hard, show good character, lead by example, and help their community. It’s part of the National Beta Club, which has been helping students become leaders and achieve success for decades.

Our Four Pillars

Every Beta member works to grow in these four areas:

• Achievement – Doing your best in school and aiming high.

• Character – Making good choices and showing respect for yourself and others.

• Leadership – Stepping up to lead and inspire your peers.

• Service – Helping your school and community through volunteer work.

Who Can Join?

Junior Beta is for students in grades 6–8 who maintain a 3.2 or higher G.P.A

 and show leadership, kindness, and responsibility.

What We Do

• State Convention – Louisiana hosts the largest Junior Beta state convention in the country, with over 11,000 Betas attending! The next convention will be in Lafayette from February 24–27, 2026 at the Cajun Dome.

• Competitions – Show your talents in academics, art, music, writing, leadership, engineering, and more!

• Service Projects – Work together on projects that make a difference in our school and community.

Being part of Junior Beta means making friends, trying new things, and becoming the best version of yourself—all while having fun!

 

Beta Club Induction – A Celebration of Excellence

The Beta Club Induction Ceremony is a special event where new members are officially welcomed into the National Beta Club. This is a time to celebrate your hard work in school, your good character, and your commitment to serving others.

During the ceremony, you’ll take part in a tradition that recognizes achievement, leadership, and service—the three pillars of Beta. It’s more than just joining a club—it’s a promise to continue doing your best, being a positive leader, and helping your school and community.

Becoming a Beta member means you’re part of a group of students who strive to make a difference while having fun and building lasting friendships.
